I'll Accept Yous Home Over again, Kathleen
Across the ocean wild and wide
To where your middle has e'er been
Since showtime you were my Bonnie bride.
The roses all have left your cheek.
I've watched them fade away and die
Your voice is lamentable when always y'all speak
And tears bedim your loving optics.
Oh! I volition accept you back, Kathleen
To where your middle will feel no hurting
And when the fields are fresh and greenish
I'll take y'all to your home once again!
I know you beloved me, Kathleen, dear
Your centre was ever addicted and truthful.
I always experience when y'all are near
That life holds goose egg dear, merely you.
The smiles that once y'all gave to me
I scarcely ever see them now
Though many, many times I run across
A dark'ning shadow on your brow.
Oh! I will take y'all back, Kathleen
To where your heart will feel no pain
And when the fields are fresh and green
I'll accept you to your home over again!
To that honey home across the body of water
My Kathleen shall over again return.
And when thy old friends welcome thee
Thy loving heart will cease to yearn.
Where laughs the little silverish stream
    Abreast your mother's humble cot
And brightest rays of sunshine gleam
At that place all your grief will exist forgot.
Oh! I will accept y'all back, Kathleen
To where your heart volition feel no pain
And when the fields are fresh and greenish
I'll take yous to your home again!

    beWildered

Rachel, could y'all bank check out Emmet over again and run into if he isn't a little bland, insipid, compared to The King?

    Baton Murray Fan

sistergoldenhair416 o yeas Walter Van Brunt sang this much much better than Elvis. Walter's version is much more neautiful than this with horrible Elvis. Hear Walter sing it hither on Youtube and You will never over again say this with Elvis is great. I'm Not elvis fan I'm Walter Van Brunt fan ( since 2013) after I started listen to Walter I stopped where fan of Elvis because I like a million times better Walter. Walter sang many of very beautiful songs. He started as recording creative person in 1909when he was only 17 years old and was the youngest recording creative person of that time, but a very good ane

    Birgitta Carlsson

It´s obvious you´re not an Elvis fan, and then what are yous doing hither slandering him? I will non listen to Walter whoever that is later on your comments. Yous´re the horrible one and  with bad taste.

    Beautiful Kittens

Billy Murray Fan. I did listen to the version you posted (74 views at the time) and it is truly awful. In that location again everyone is entitled to their stance and some people accept a better ear than others. I know which category you come into.

    Ann Thompson

@MrRol1n I thought so.Have seen him play this song sitting in a rehearsal studio.Everyone around him was clearing up and clattering.Only he was lost in his own world.Talented human being that he was.

    Savoy209

I just got done watching that video."Melancholy Piano" .I savor his piano playing.

    Ann Thompson

@MrRol1n I enjoy anything Elvis does.He was so talented.

  74. Ann Thompson

Elvis sings this with and so much love..he sounds as if his heart is breaking.

    BikerHomeBoy

That is so well put. I really never thought of this only you are so correct.

    Billy Murray Fan

Ann Thompson Hear this song recorded past Walter Van Brunt and yous will never say this with Elvis is nifty again

  76. anamar23601

    bella bella,beautiful beautiful Adem!

  77. carol biggs

    Beautiful

  78. Katlen Camacho

My name derives from Kathleen, and my mom LOVES Elvis (due north so practice i). But she take never heard this vocal.. When she listed to it, she freaked out hasudihasd <3<3

  79. Kathleen O'Donovan

    my name is kathleen;)

  80. alphasun1

Bad organisation, unworthy of the Male monarch.

  81. Roselyne Gérard

Enfin une vidéo qui north'est pas polluée par les additifs de la P. Beaulieu. Très belles photos d'Elvis sur ce merveilleux chant !

  82. kate Beard

I know this song, beingness Kathleen, surprisingly good, like it

  83. Catherine Lindsay

As my proper noun is Catherine, Kathleen is a class of my proper name. The homo in my life sang this when he was 7 years of age for the kickoff fourth dimension and still 60 years later, sings it to perfection.

  84. barbarybar

My mum died when I was five. Her proper noun was Kathleen and she was of Irish decent. My dad used to sing this to me every bit a kid. It notwithstanding means a lot to me fifty-fifty though I am now 64.

  85. Donna Adams

I honey this song, information technology was the vocal that my dad sang to my mum all those years ago, before she passed, Elvis just sings it so softly and sincerely.

  86. Jack Strickland

what a lovely vocal sung by a legend

  87. Dalton Santiago

    gods songs ;D

  88. Jovi Peruser

The first musician I ever loved.

  89. clarence fender

@DonvanderDeijl Both were peachy singers! The music of today is terrible.

  90. Don van der Deijl

@cf1934 Frankie Lane was a great vocalist likewise. Hear him sing one off his near famous songs "ï Believe" My begetter who died 9 years agone loved Frankie . On his funeral there was Frankie Lane,s music I believe. There was a fourth dimension my father said "Elvis tried to do what Frankie did" peradventure he was right, Elvis was recorded I believe to. I guess both off them where nifty singers. I missed that kind off singers. I experience sorry for those today but only telephone call me ane vocaliser who did it like this two giants.

  91. clarence fender

@DonvanderDeijl You feel nigh Elvis like I feel about Frankie Laine.

  92. Don van der Deijl

@cf1934 Simply off form your right near that. I liked Elvis his voice speccialy in the lxx.south Simply that,s personel. There are a lott of songs which he did without feelin. But this ane he did with his soul. Fifty-fifty in the end when his voice was broke you can hear in eg Unchained Melody that he suffers as also in My Way. THAT makes the unlike between a lot off others HE meant is when he sings, And that had nothing to do with range. Listening to MJ and i heared a voice without anything for eg

  93. clarence fender

@DonvanderDeijl To your ears, not mine!

  94. Don van der Deijl

@cf1934 What has range to practice with it? Elvis himself Roy Orbisson who had a greather range. Merely don,t forget It,s Elvis himself behind the Piano doin this song in one time and y'all tin hear an experience he means every discussion of it and THAT my friend makes Elvsi zo Man and big

  95. Horgan1956

This has e'er been a beautiful song. And 1 of the reasons my first daughter is named Kathleen. The King does an awesome job on it......no surprise. He had more range than many realized.

  96. Monique de kramer

I've never heard this song before, information technology's crawly! Other artists are null when you hear Elvis sing. He is simply the best! Elvis forever!
    And thanx for sharing!

  97. SONIA ELIZABETH DIAZ VILLALTA

Simply beautyful Elvis is nifty. Thank GOD for the phonation that gave to Elvis, to sing that fashion.
